Pastor Owusu Boateng Biography

Pastor Boateng, 42, is a Bahamian resident and was born in the Ashanti Region of Gahana in West Africa. His wife, Marva Collins of Nassau, is a teacher by profession. Pastor and Mrs. Boateng are currently serving in South Andros as the district pastor there. They have two growing, energetic boys, Komali Kwasi Adjei and Sadven Kwasi Oti Boateng.

Pastor, Boateng spent his formative years under the Christian guidance of his parents. Because of the influence of his father and a few miraculous experiences, he became determined to serve the church as a Seventh-day Adventist pastor.

His journey in preparation to become a minister began in 1975 at the Wesley Teacher Training College where he became a certified teacher. They he went on to the Adventist Seminary of West Africa (now Babcock University), Nigeria, West Africa.
