Pastor Kent Price was born to the proud parents, Kendal and Mellie Price on the island of New Providence, Bahamas. He is one of four brothers and fraternal twin to Kirk Price.

Pastor Price became active very early in the Grants Town Seventh-day Church, singing in the Children's and Youth choirs, serving as a Junior Deacon, and Pathfinder Club where he was invested as a Master Guide.

At the age of twelve, Pastor Price was baptized by Pastor Roy Hanna at the Grants Town SDA Church and continued serving the Lord in a more spiritual and energetic way, assisting in many Evangelistic Campaigns and Colporteur Ministry with his Grandmother the late Sis. Arimentha Colebrooke.

Pastor Price attended the Mable Walker, Willard Patton Primary Schools, H.O.Nash Junior High and C.C. Sweeting Senior High. After leaving high school, he was trained as a skill mason. He then left to work as a sub-contractor in Great Exuma and the Exuma Cays.

It was May 1987, on the beautiful island of Exuma, where Pastor Price received his call from his Saviour and Lord to become a Seventh-day Adventist Minister. And in August of 1987, he commenced his studies at Northern Caribbean University (Formerly West Indies College). In the four years at the University, Pastor Price held numerous positions of responsibilities. Among them: Evangelistic Coordinator for the Student Ministerial Association, Chaplain and President of the BBC Club, and Ordain Deacon of the University Church.

In 1991, Pastor Price completed the Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Biblical Languages. In 1992, he conducted Evangelistic Crusades in Crooked Island, Eleuthera, and Bible Studies in North Andros and Freeport Grand Bahama. He supported himself by selling religious books in the Family of islands and trade as a Skill Mason and Body Mechanic.

Pastor Price was called in 1993 to assist as a Bible Worker in the Breath of Life Crusade conducted by Pastor Charles D. Brooks. At the end of the Campaign, he was ordained as First Elder of the newly established Breath of Life Church in New Providence by Pastor Leonard Johnson. In 1994, he was appointed as a Ministerial Intern, attached to the Hillview S.D.A Church. During this period, he also served as Chaplain and Physical Education Teacher at Bahamas Academy Elementary Division.

Knowing that no man is complete without a wife, Pastor Price, on July 31, 1994, was joined in Holy wedlock to the former Miss Alree Sands. He served three years (1996-1999) as Pastor of the Abaco District. One and a half year (1999-2000) at the Breath of Life and Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Churches.

The Bahamas Conference decided to sponsor two Bahamian Pastors in the year 2000 to Advance Studies at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, U.S.A. It was then that Pastor Price took up the challenge to further his education. After spending three years, he earned a Master's of Divinity Degree in 2003 and was later called to serve the Exuma District until 2006, March 31.

Today, Pastor Kent is a happy and committed husband and father. He loves to pray, play and talk with his three daughters, Kentalicia, Ken-Reesha and Kentanay. He cherishes quiet hours with his beautiful wife, Alree. His many hobbies ranging from reading, spending time in nature, listening to classic music, to traveling.

Pastor Price is a devoted Adventist Christian, a lover of Christ, and a firm believer in the Seventh-day Sabbath. He is committed to Ministry and in serving His church and looks forward to the Second Coming of Jesus. His encouraging words to all are "Tough Times Never Last Only Tough People Do In Christ Jesus."
